I would love to keep the weather we have had this weekend. It has been beautiful. I just wanted to share a few more photos from all the recent activities. I did make it by for just a bit of the fun day at Evelyn's school on Friday. Then yesterday we had a first. Evelyn's dance class participated in a dance competion. It was a good experience for Evelyn because she got to see a variety of it all. I think she enjoyed it. Her group is a little young but their teacher thought they had done well and wanted them to take part. They were very cute and did a great job. Emelia played a bit with a girl in her dance class that was there to cheer on her older sister as well. By the way, I don't think I have shared that Miss Emelia has been taking dance since February. She loves it but I don't think any of us would question that.

Book Parade

Its that time of year when lots of fun events are taking place at school. Today was
PLE's Book Parade. Evelyn's class chose "The Best Mud Pie" as their book. She also thought that she made the best mud pie. :) The other photos include one with my great niece Mal and my coworker's son Trent. Tomorrow is their field day. I hope to sneak over and get a few photos of those events.

Celebrations

A few photos from last weekend's Easter celebrations. We enjoyed worshiping our risen Lord and then some family time. This weekend we celebrated our 5th God Gave Us Evelyn Day, my how time does fly. We enjoyed time at Scott's brother's and then attended the annual Bethany Picnic. I thought it was kind of neat the picnic fell on that special day. We were so happy our good friends, the Smiths, were able to make the picnic. We have a special bond through our adoptions and we always enjoy time with them. I don't have photos because we forgot the camera, hard to believe. I did buy a dispoable so maybe I can scan some and share those later. The celebrations continued as our church had our annual homecoming services today. The first photos are of the girls before church. We had another good day. Whew, time to rest.

Past to Present

There have been a number of things that I did not slow down to blog about. We finally got to see cousin Mason play soccer last month. He did a great job. We are seeing more of him these days. Although the circumstances that brought that on are not pleasant, we are enjoying the time with him. Evelyn's kindergarten class presented a tribute to our country and those who serve to keep our country free. They did a great job. PRCC continued their centennial celebration with a folk festival. The girls enjoyed a wagon ride provided by none other than Miss Renee and Kenny. There was also a petting zoo which included Peyton's minniature horses. They really enjoyed getting to brush and pet the horses. That same afternoon we attended an FCC Gymnastics party. I got confused on the time and my girls missed most of the gym time. They did love what time they had and then enjoyed some party time after. We also truly enjoyed dinner with the Smiths following the event. That was a busy day. Notice that my hammock chair has become the backyard swing. Now for the big news... Evelyn and Mason can ride the bike withouth training wheels. Evelyn has been asking for some time. Scott took them off Friday evening and away they went. Mason picked it up first and that gave miss determination what she needed to conquer it. She is zooming on it now. Wow. Maybe I have somewhat caught up for the moment. Life is busy but great.
