Wow, are things wild. We had a holiday from work yesterday due to power relocation and therefore I had no email. Everything happens when you have no email. TAs (travel approvals) arrived at CCAI yesterday. They are in the process of making consulate appointments so we do not have any definites yet but it looks like it will be when we thought, right in the middle of youth camp. The others are trying to leave June 4th and we requested at least one week later so Scott could get things in order for youth camp. We will post details when we know. Now, for the best part. Our new friends from NC are in China and got to visit with Emelia on Friday. Their daughter is from the same SWI. We were so excited to get new photos of her. She has grown. They said she has a cold, poor baby. Enjoy the pictures and we will post more later. :)

She is so precious!!!!!!!! She has grown quite a bit since your last photos. That's the hardest part of an adoption like this is watching them "grow" up while we wait on the other side of the planet for permission to go get them!!!
I can't wait to follow your journey and see Emelia united with her family!

Oh my Goodness!! Look at her! She's beautiful! You're not gonna believe this.. but that top she has on was one of McKenna's when she was a baby! No kidding!! We took a suitcase FULL of Girl baby clothes... I was sooo excited to see they are putting it to good use!! Tears of Joy filled my eyes!!
So happy to hear you are traveling!!! She'll be in mommy's arms soon!!
... I would love to know who this other family is.. with a child from the same SWI.. I wonder if I know the child. ? Do they have a blog?
