Well, this is what you have been waiting for. Your prayers have been answered. We are doing great. We now have another strong willed daughter. They brought her to us screaming but not because of us, it was because they took her from the playroom. : ) We did not know that until about 30 minutes after the screaming. We are back in the hotel and so far things are very good. It was too funny when I tried to put the lid back on a water bottle and she would not let me, she had to "do it herself." We have been there done that and all is good. Lets see, she has tried to turn off the TV, she sang the ee i ee i oh part of Old McDonald when it was on Barney and likes Evelyn's light up flip flops. I tried to take her shoes off while sittling on the bed and she did not like it but they came off quickly when she saw the light up flip flops. I know there is more and will be lots more to come. I will say that the nanny was very very interested and concerned about how Emelia was doing. I can tell she has had good care. Also, they call her Hui Hui (way way). I am glad we went with Hui for the middle name. Have I said that Evelyn has been absolutely great? I knew she would be a great big sister.

What joy you must feel right now! Congratulations on your beautiful new daughter!
Oh Alicia, Scott and Evie, we are thrilled beyond words to finally see Evie with you guys. Wow, she just fits like a glove! God is so good and He is faithful to give us the desires of our heart.
Looks like Evie is doing wonderful as a big sister. I love the way Emelia is looking at her in that last photo.
We will continue to pray as she gets to know her forever family and we pray for patience as you well know that we both know how strong willed kids are. (HA)
We love you and will see you soon. P.S. Mallory was thrilled that she and Miss Emelia share the same Chinese name "HUI".
Oooops. I said "Evie" but I meant "Emelia". I am so excited I can't type through my tears. LOL!
Alicia,
We have not met, but I am another adoptive Mississippi mom. We came home with Miah (7) last November. Congratulations on your second beautiful China girl!
We are excited beyond belief. She is beautiful and Evelyn is just beaming with pride over her new sister. Mason likes his new cousin as well. He said "they need to come see us." We can not wait for you to return. Do you know how many light up flip flops may be waiting for her when she gets here? :)

What an Awesome day !!! I am so excited for all of you but I think I am the most excited for Evelyn. She looks like the happiest big sister ever. I pray the rest of your journey is as joyful as your first day together as a family of four. Safe travels and congratulations. Welcome Emelia to the Chinese Sisterhood and Pandamonium family.
Hugs to all of you - Tina Whitney
Emelia is so cute. We can't wait until you get home and we get to see her. Tell Evie we miss her. Mom said to tell Evie to give Emie what she sent for her. We love you!
