Well today is a day to remember. Miss Evelyn is now a big school girl. Wow! It is hard to imagine but she started kindergarten today. We all did fairly well considering this big change. She started the day out in her usual princess style, on the couch with chocolate milk and bacon. She was in pretty good spirits until it was time for me to leave her in the classroom. She cried just a bit (I almost did) but recovered shortly after. When we picked her up this afternoon she was all smiles and had a good report of the day. Whew. The other event today was an A okay from Emelia's visit to the eye doctor. Our pediatrician thought she might have a bit of a lazy eye but everything was fine. She did get some cool shades due to the checkup. :)

I am so glad Evelyn had a great first day at school. I can't believe how fast she is growing! I love Emelia's sunglasses and am so thankful for her good report from the eye doctor.
The Smith's can't get over Miss Evelyn starting school. I knew this day was coming for her but it has all happened way too fast. When did our little girls become so big??? She looks darling with her uniform and backpack. We can't wait to hear all about it soon when we are hanging out at the beach. We are counting down the days and can hardly wait!!! Love you guys!
Evelyn is getting to be such a big girl!! I know that the first day was hard - I can well remember the first day my oldest started school - and I DID cry!!
I'm glad little Emelia is doing well also. Tiana's cardio appt went well and she has been given a clean bill of health - Praise God!!
Hugs,

Gosh Alicia....I can't believe Evelyn started Kindergarten. Wow! Time just goes by way to fast. I remember when Camryn started and driving away from the school crying my eyes out. Now I've turned around and blincked twice and she's going into the 3rd grade!!
