Whew. I will be honest and say that we are having good and rough times. Emelia is one strong willed girl. She has giggled and played and has also pitched some fits. I don't think anyone has ever told her no. She is warming up and beginning to feel comfortable with us. When we first brought her to the room she would not take her shoes off. She now takes them off when we come in without thinking twice. All of those little things are important. We took her to the pool this morning and she did okay. She held on pretty tight to me. She is jibber jabbering some while we are in the room. We do know which word is potty and we think we know what her word for no is because she says it a lot. She also shakes her head no a lot. She was introduced to a moon pie and loved it. She any Evie were hungry after the pool and had two each. : ) The rain seems here to stay. It is hard to hold Emelia and an umbrella and get around. We borrowed a double stroller but she will not have anything to do with it. She wants me to hold her. I am probably beginning to repeat some of this, sorry if I am. Enjoy a few more pictures.

It's 4:00 a.m. here and yall are on my mind right now. I guess the Lord woke me up to pray for you guys. I was excited to see pics already this morning here. So funny that Miss Emelia already loves moon pies. Yep, she is a southern girl already. I was happy to see the little dress on her that we bought her. I also love seeing the girls together in the pool. Hopefully Emelia will be ready for the pool when we all go to the beach. We love you and can't wait until yall get home. Sending many prayers your way. Mallory misses Evie and has talked nonstop about going to the airport to greet her. See yall soon.
Oh, I love that Smile!!!!

AWWW! I just LOVE her smile! It is the sweetest thing. And her love of moon pies....she is already a southern girl! :-) I can't wait for ya'll to get home...it seems like forever! :-)Continued prayers are still be lifting up for ya'll.
Love Emelia's smile! God must have given her such a cute smile so you would forget about the temper for a few minutes :) I know He did that for Lilli. Lilli can throw a monster of a fit. I am praying for you all as you deal with Emelia's strong will. It will serve her well one day. I assume you must have brought the moon pies from here ... so funny :) that has never been on my packing list but maybe I'll have to add them!
Thank you for updating and letting me live vicariously through you guys as we wait.
Love,
Margie
